A cave known today as the Grotto of St.Peter is believed to be where the Apostle Peter preached when he visited Antakya.

The first man to fly was Turkish...using wings. Hezarfen Ahmed Celebi flew from Europe to Asia from the Galata Tower over the Bosphorus to land in Uskudar in the 17th century.

There are many museums having been embraced by three empires and host to 13 civilizations. Historic art and architecture from the Hittite, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires.

In August, there is the TROY Festval. In September, there is a Wine Competition. In October, thee is the Antaly Golden Orange Film Festival. In November, there is the Filmekimi Film Festival and in December the is the Whirling Dervishes.

Most of the major airlines have frequent flights to Turkey. Istanbul and Kusadasi are the most popular ports for the major curise lines. The other major ports are Izmir, Cesme, Bodrum, Marmaris, Kas, Antalya, Alanya and Trabzon.

One extraordinary place after another. As the locations and sights change, one thing remains the same, the frindly people of this unique country , whre the art of warm hospitality has been a cultural tradition for centuries.

Turkey is located in Southeastern Europe , bordering the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Istanbul is the only city in the world located on two continents, Europe and Asia. Two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is located in Catalhoyuk, Kony, Turkey...dating back 6500BC.
